Controlling droplet generation

Patrick Tabeling and collaborators in the group of Alexander Leshansky (Technion-IIT, Israel) have just recently published a paper detailing droplet generation in microfluidic T-junctions.


Using experiments and numerics, they investigate the effect of the Capillary number and flow rate, microchannel geometry on the dynamics of droplet break-up.
